  21. Well, I don't know if it's bad altogether, but my experience with the combination
  22. A3000 Desktop + 3060 is very bad. I ordered my 3060 before Xmas, got it within
  23. 10 days, sent it back 2 times because it didn't work. Now Easter is over 
  24. and I'm still waiting for a running A3000+3060. I suspect that it's a 
  25. kludge design that isn't thoroughly tested, especially with the above combination
  26. running some popular software (that's my current problem, everything non-trivial
  27. except the workbench crashes sooner or later). You find this kind of "banana"
  28. products all over the computer market. Well, maybe I'm a little bit upset
  29. and thus unfair, I simply should wait for the "final" repair, but for such 
  30. a high price I paid I can expect a product that works out-of-the-box. Period.
  31. Even more so after my first attempt to get it fixed they should have made 
  32. a full HW+SW Installation+TEST (which they offer).

  34. My advice is to wait until the dust has settled on this issue.

  37. this whole thing makes me somewhat pessimistic about PPC board upgrades of
  38. existing Amigas. Hell, if people can't produce proper upgrades using processors
  39. of the same line, how can anybody promise (100% working !) PPC boards 
  40. for summer '96 ?
